Cosmetic PR is a full-service, boutique public relations & digital marketing agency that specialise in medical aesthetics, beauty and wellness brands. We put our 17+ years of experience to work daily; helping businesses grow from small brands into leading industry & household names.
After winning several new clients, we are looking for an experienced Junior Account Manager/Account Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will be passionate and knowledgeable on aesthetic treatments, skincare, and surgical/non-surgical procedures. We are looking for a real team player and someone that is keen to develop and grow with the business.
Main Responsibilities
Pitching in, securing press coverage, and meeting weekly coverage targets
- Build and maintain relationships with beauty editors both online and in print - as well as key influencers
- Identifying trend-led stories and feature ideas, and coming up with topical angles for press releases, newsletters, and media alerts
- Writing client press releases and media alerts
- Keeping PR reports up to date
- Helping assist with new business proposals
- Attending client meetings
- Arranging press treatment reviews / liaising with clients and journalists to book visits for review What skills are we looking for? The ideal candidate will:
- Have at least 3 years experience in a similar role
- Have strong relationships with beauty and health press and influencers
- Applicants must be confident to sell into the press, and work to weekly press coverage targets
- Confident in multi-tasking and working across several different client accounts
- Strong writing, communication, and language skills
- Preferably some experience in email marketing, using canva and design software
- Proficiency in Numbers, Keynote, and strong MS Word skills
- Ideally some experience in social media for businesses
- Self-motivated and ambitious
