DIARY directory is a news and contacts platform for fashion, beauty & lifestyle press, PRs, marketers and other media & creative industry professionals. We organise and collate huge amounts of data within the fashion, beauty and lifestyle media industries. We are looking for a Data Assistant to help manage our ever-expanding information database.

The Role:

• Assisting in the upkeep of a large database of industry contact information
• Contacting industry professionals on a daily basis in a clear and concise manner
• Using sources to verify information and understanding GDPR-compliance requirements (training will be provided)
• Recognising news, and if necessary finding source verification, for inclusion in the DIARY daily
• Online research to track down elusive contacts as part of the helpline service for members
• Recognising other opportunities to build our industry relationships - including membership sales opportunities, and account management requirements.

Requirements:

• An understanding of the importance of accurate and well-recorded data - attention to detail is a must
• Self-organisation and self-motivation skills and an ability to prioritise
• Ability to write clearly and concisely 
• A confident, positive personality and a willing, 'can do’ attitude!
• Some experience working within the PR / marketing / media industry preferable

We will provide:

• Laptop with stand, keyboard, etc
• Ongoing support to settle you into the role via calls and screen-sharing

The Dd team works remotely - so we are looking for someone reliable, trustworthy and with a good work ethic and positive attitude. We have various systems in place to help the team keep in touch and to help manage our individual workloads and collective team targets.

This is a permanent, full-time position. Accepting UK-based applicants only.
