Public Relations Assistant – Clarins Group

A multi-faceted, multi-tasking role, this position’s key responsibility is to provide the most effective level of support to the PR Team as a whole to enable them to successfully drive favourable awareness of each of the brands including Clarins as well as Mugler and Azzaro fragrances. The PR Assistant reports in to the Senior PR Manager but works closely with the PR Coordinator and Assistant PR Manager on a day-to-day basis.

A high level of attention to detail is required and flexibility is essential in this role as no two days are ever the same. We are looking for a team player with an energetic nature, who is incredibly motivated and organised with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. The ability to work under pressure and to ever changing deadlines is crucial for this fast paced role.

We are looking for a candidate who is able to hit the ground running therefore a minimum of 6 months PR experience is required.

Key roles and responsibilities:

• Supporting the PR Director, PR Manager, Assistant PR Manager and PR Coordinator in the smooth running of the Clarins Group Press Office 
• Responding to daily press product call in’s and enquiries
• Responsible for the mail out calendar and execution of all product mailings
• Stock ordering and management 
• Monitoring Clarins and Clarins Fragrance editorial coverage
• Compiling and circulating weekly social media round ups
• Assisting the team on all new launches
• Supporting the PR Coordinator and Assistant PR Manager in the organisation of all Regional press activity
• Working on draft press releases for regional and tactical mailings 
• Assisting the creation of reports to monitor PR print performance
• Updating and maintaining PR contacts list for mailings
• General Administration and housekeeping within the office
• Managing Clarins gifting programme 
• Ad hoc requests
