CGC is currently looking for a dynamic and visionary Senior Account Director with strong team leadership and client liaison skills to join a busy growing team. Responsible for leading a portfolio of client accounts, delivering a creative and strategic approach across digital,influence, press, events & partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead owned client portfolio, working closely alongside the Founder/CEO
  • Ensure strong, collaborative and valuable relationships with all clients and respective teams
  • Deliver a strong strategic & creative vision approach and pov.
  • Understand the vision, story, product offer and positioning of each of your owned brands
  • Show a deep understanding of client’s business in order to deliver strategic and creative campaigns against briefs
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the products, their background and their positioning in the brand and marketplace
  • Ensure daily liaison/rapport with key client contact / Managing Directors/ Marketing Directors / Brand Founders
  • Plan and execute each 360 communication strategy for your owned clients. To include strong visibility across channel; digital, social/influence and print media, across the UK and Ireland.
  • Align with your owned brand’s marketing calendar and implement and manage the PR calendar to support all launch initiatives and seasonal focuses.
  • Plan and execute all UK launch events (inline with brand and CGC vision and guidelines) and ensure strong and relevant attendance
  • Attend and organise client press trips where necessary.
  • Support your team to secure qualitative and impactful coverage across all digital, print and key social platforms, ensuring a year on year increase
  • Experience in managing paid influencer campaigns across multiple platforms
  • well versed in managing affiliates and affiliate partnerships
  • Generate story ideas and pitching proactively across the whole media landscape. Support junior members of the team in pitching and building relationships. Share best practice.
  • Manage team to devise a regional PR strategy for clients, include events and seasonal regional tours where required
  • Produce creative and engaging written press materials, pitches, strategies and content for clients - bring new ideas that keep products relevant and newsworthy beyond the new launch moment
  • Deliver and monitor results in line with brand strategies
  • Monitor and manage client budgets ensuring no overspend

Collaborations and Partnerships

  • Identify collaboration opportunities and potential partnerships to promote owned brands and their services- always consider diverse and conscious initiatives

Retailers

  • Build strong relationships with retailers & your own brands key accounts to ensure maximum exposure on new launches and brand pillars on all retailer digital and social platforms
  • Previous experience with retail partners an advantage

Management

  • Day to day lead / management/ organisation of your portfolio of brands
  • Implement best internal practices for CGC team
  • Excellent track record in management of teams and develop junior staff members
  • Lead weekly team meetings, bring new, creative on brand ideas and initiatives

CGC / New Business

  • Bring to CGC new business opportunities where relevant and appropriate
  • Support on new business development, pitches and strategies bring new ideas and creative thinking
  • Attend and contribute in new business pitches as required
  • Represent and act as a CGC brand ambassador

Requirements:

  • An independently minded team player with strong leadership skills
  • Very personable with a strong interest in beauty, wellness and in comms
  • Well-established and wide-reaching senior media contacts across beauty, health, wellbeing and luxury
  • Experience managing clients on a global level advantageous
  • Understand and know the global beauty industry. Show that you are well versed in industry news/ POV and trends. Frequently share interesting articles, news and ideas to inspire team and added value to clients
  • Track record of creating PR and comms strategies and providing client counsel at a senior level
  • Proven new business skills, both in terms of outreach and in terms of pitching
  • A hands-on approach. We are a small team who work closely together and support each other day to day
  • A desire to mentor and guide more junior team members and bring the best out in their team
  • A career-oriented mindset
  • Highly organised and an ability to multitask
  • Ability to tailor your approach relevant to each client
  • In-depth knowledge and passion for the beauty and wellness sector
