New Opportunity; CGC is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Account Executive to join our busy growing team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, a good communicator, be passionate about the beauty industry, as well as having an awareness, knowledge and interest in the social media and digital landscape. Contacts across print and digital space in beauty and wellness essential.
Team structure; Working closely with and supported by an Account Manager, Account Director and Founder.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily review of media for coverage and articles of interest, tracking and saving coverage, report to wider team and clients
- Media outreach and pitching features
- Compiling weekly, monthly coverage reports on your clients
- Ownership of thorough press, KOL, makeup artist and influencer database for your clients making sure we are inclusive and diverse in our reach
- Generating meaningful print, online and social coverage for your clients
- Attend client PR update meetings (monthly or when necessary) on relevant clients and take minutes of meeting to circulate thereafter
- Ensure google drive folders are up to date and organised
- Organise and regularly update the CGC focus document
- Manage and develop relationships with assistants, writers and editors at relevant key media titles.
- Implementing creative mailers, send-outs and new ways to elevate launches
- Oversee interns to manage stock cupboard and level to ensure the press office is fully stocked with bags/tissue at all times
- Media capture of blogs, social posts and YouTube
- Deliver analytics reports on social media, reporting on traffic, engagement, and follower figures
- Using tracking and listening platforms (MMI and TRIBE)
- Research venues and creative mailings
- Suggest new editors and influencers to target for each client
- Create seasonal and trend-led press releases and e-blasts to drive placement features
- Support on all launch campaigns, events and press trips
- Manage and download press tools and image libraries on appropriate clients
- Be proactive when it comes to pitch ideas and themes
- Strengthen and manage relationships with key media by booking in regular meetings
- Plan and execute events for press and influencers, working with suppliers
- Creative thinking - participate in brainstorming, bring fresh thinking to clients and team
Events:

Required Experience / Competencies:
- Personable and professional client service and media relations
- PR and event experience, beauty contacts desirable
- Experience of collating and analysing information to determine success and insights
- Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal
- Creative, proactive, and with the ability to employ initiative
- Highly organised, with good attention to detail
- Self-motivated, deadline focused
- Budget conscious
- Genuine interest in the beauty industry and the UK media landscape
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint – Experience of working with analytical tools e.g. Kantar, My Market Insights, Google Analytics, Diary Directory
- Enthusiastic team player
- 2 years previous experience
