CGC is looking for an Account Director to lead their niche brand portfolio. The candidate should have a
thorough understanding of the beauty landscape, be able to lead a results-driven communications plan across
traditional and new media.

Objectives and key responsibilities include:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the CGC team for an Account Director. Reporting to the Founder and CEO.

The successful candidate will have a solid background of 6-8 years’ experience in beauty, wellbeing or lifestyle PR. They will be strategic, creative, results orientated and ideas driven, with a proven track record in delivering quantifiable results across all channels of media.

They will be able to lead and own their client roster as well as support the team beneath them. They will understand the ever changing media landscape - thinking globally and acting locally.

The Position will be responsible for:

• Developing and deploying a best in class communications strategy that is both innovative and dynamic for their client roster
• To service the editorial print and digital media on a reactive and proactive basis to a high level, placing strategic features,meaningful placement and results driven influencer partnerships.
• Experience in Influencer engagement and content creation
• Have strong Influence, KOL, VIP relationships to enhance CGC portfolio
• Excellent relationships with press, influencers, makeup artists,
• Strategy and planning on the implementation of all new product launches and events
• Manage and build the Senior Account Executives on reporting and administration and ensure CGC brands have a consistent presence within the editorial media landscape
• Oversee the day-to-day management of the always-on client press office, ensuring maximum productivity and managing day to day activity
• Have an interest and understanding in the beauty and wellness space and appetite to bring new ideas and initiatives to the table
• Proactively identify collaboration and partnership opportunities for clients

The ideal candidate will:

• Be strategic, creative and proactive with experience of managing people
• Have the ability to quickly pivot to respond to the ever changing media landscape
• Have a minimum of 6 years within the beauty, wellbeing or lifestyle PR industry with first-hand experience of delivering successful campaigns
• An avid interest and strong understanding of the social media and digital landscape
• Have excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Lead and support on all owned accounts as main point of contact for CGC clients
• Ensure strong, collaborative and valuable relationships with all clients and respective teams
• Daily liaison/rapport with clients/ founders
• Obtain strong coverage across all media platforms - print, digital, social, VIP- ensuring a YOY increase
• Support CGC senior team to devise PR Communications strategies for Niche-brand client portfolio
• Execute client’s communications strategy, to include digital, social and print media. Implement and manage the PR calendar to support all launch initiatives
• Meet regularly with traditional and new media as well as nurturing existing and seeking new relationships
• Continually nurture converting, influencer relationships
• Deliver and monitor results in line with brand strategies
• Identify opportunities and partnerships to promote owned brands and their services
• Create a regional PR strategy for clients, include events and regional tours
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the products, their background and their positioning in the brand.
• Produce creative and engaging written press materials,pitches, strategies and content for clients
• Plan and execute all UK press launch events and ensure strong print, digital and social influencer attendance
• Understand and utilise the use of media analysis for client benefit
• Generating story ideas and pitching proactively across the whole media landscape
• Understand and know the global beauty industry well
• Represent CGC brand
• 6+ year experience
