We are a disruptive and results-driven agency within a fun and dynamic office environment. In 2024 CAPSULE. began to build out their CONSUMER division which has received stand-out traction to date. Ultra-luxury car restoration company Hemmels, Australia’s leading gin brand Four Pillars and The Collection Hotel Group; Paris, NYC and London, are all joining the business in Q2. Founded by Ross Witherden in 2017, our Leadership team include senior management from ELC, Halpern and Ogilvy.

Client portfolio includes BUBBLE, CurrentBody, Briogeo, Batiste, Hero, AKT, IRAYE, Grace De Monaco, Intuisse, Sculpted by Aimee, Goldwell, Kerasilk and Charles Worthington

Your main roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Be insights driven and communicate industry knowledge to the wider business to upskill the junior team.
  • Manage a mixture of health/lifestyle and beauty accounts.
  • Build key client relationships to become a trusted extension of their team, fully understanding and embedding yourself within the brand.
  • Become the day-to-day point of contact with all clients and suppliers.
  • Drive all press office and influencer seeding functions forward within account teams.
  • Manage all client asset creation, including press releases, founder profiles and bios, pitches, presentations.
  • Manage event activations from creative concept and ideation to production and execution.
  • Be up to date with influencer knowledge across Instagram and TikTok in particular, sharing trends and recommendations on potential partnerships.
  • Build and maintain key media and influencer relationships, locking in at least 3 x media meets per month minimum with a focus on Beauty Editors and top-tier contacts.
  • Increase and sustain levels of coverage in daily/weekly/monthly titles across news desks and beauty across both print and online.
  • Supervise all coverage monitoring and tracking with the junior team ensuring accurate reporting to both the senior team and clients.
  • Provide regular, accurate and concise progress reports back to the senior leadership team and client ensuring that we are delivering on all KPIs and consistently working in a reactive and proactive way.
  • Help the company to promote high morale and communicate the company’s operating policies and business DNA by leading by example and guiding the team accordingly.
  • Host weekly 1:1s with direct reports, delivering feedback where required. Motivating direct reports in setting and reviewing goals on a weekly basis and reporting back to the senior team when required.
  • Support in the development of new business brainstorms, decks and pitches.
  • Ensure new processes that have been put in place by the senior team are reflected across the full team and brands swiftly.
  • Contribute relevant and trending ideas and strategies to brainstorms and new business pitches.
  • Take ownership projects within the business e.g. influencer partnerships and processes, CC social strategy, case studies etc.
  • Owning influencer partnerships including ideations, negotiations and contracting.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Strategic thinker with a proven track record of creating and implementing brand proposals.
  • Results driven to ensure ROI is being met across the board.
  • Strong health, beauty, and wellness relations (journalists and influencers).
  • Excellent writing, communication, and language skills.
  • Thorough reporting and confident presentation skills.
  • Creative and dynamic; an always-on attitude and unrivalled passion for the industry.
  • Confident in leading meetings, and calls and representing the client and Capsule Comms agency.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills with confidence to manage up as well as down.
  • Extensive knowledge of the UK media landscape; including print, digital, social and broadcast.
  • A “can-do” attitude; commitment to supporting colleagues, meeting deadlines and going the extra mile in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exemplary written work and comms.
  • Passion for the beauty industry.
  • Familiar with tools including MeltWater, Tagger, Lefty, Gorkana, Diary Directory etc.
  • A ‘business first’ approach.
