Camron PR is a leading design communication company with offices in London, New York and LA.    The agency works with global clients across sectors from interiors, retail, hospitality, technology and luxury brands where design is a major point of difference.

The agency is based in Covent Garden with a team of 40 people from different disciplines, and incorporates a high level social media team. 

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of six, working a cross a portfolio of retail, consumer design and home-related brands.   This role will provide the successful candidate with a good opportunity to learn about this industry and press activity in a dynamic environment.

The successful individual will have between 2 to 3 years’ experience, a university degree and excellent writing skills.

We will be looking for someone who has experience with photographic shoots, working on events, and an understanding about how to run an efficient press office.

We will seek to appoint someone who has a positive attitude, good energy, resourceful and proactive.  The role has the scope to develop within the agency.
 

Main responsibilities will include:

• Day to day liaison with the client
• Press release writing
• Compiling client reports
• Compiling outreach lists - both press and influencers
• Securing high levels of coverage;
• Creating collateral with a good eye to detail
• Creating specific media lists and media outreach
• Involvement in photographic shoots, events and press shows
• Attending client meetings and writing reports
• Internal and external monthly reporting, presenting and media monitoring
• Monitoring coverage - on and off line
• Build a strong network of press and media contacts with all key target titles
• Distribute press releases to press
• Support the management planning, preparation and execution of Press Days and other events
• Compile weekly coverage, event activities report to share with clients
• Keep up to date with current and forthcoming interior/design trends, identifying news opportunities and creative new ways to gain coverage

Professional experience & skills:

• 2-3 years PR experience within consumer/lifestyle/home related sector
• Good press and digital contacts
• The ability to multi-task and work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced environment
• Possess excellent team skills
• Ability to work to deadlines
• A good eye for detail and creative writing
• Efficient, organised with excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Confident communicator
