Purpose of the role
To support Beauty Bulb with the UK and International growth of The Brand Book platform - our global and digital tradeshow for the beauty industry. The role is focused on new business development, brand recruitment, onboarding global retailers and distributors and also on enhancing all platform communications to increase overall engagement, awareness and brand/user (retailer and distributor) introductions.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for sourcing new beauty and wellness brands, finding their contact details and pitching to a number of brands across various categories via email, Instagram and LinkedIn each week
- Responsible for targeting new beauty and wellness retail and distribution partners, finding their contact details and pitching to them via email, Instagram and LinkedIn each week
- Communicating with platform users about new brands, brand updates and sharing regular newsletters via mail chimp
- Communicating with our brand partners in relation to their listings, listing edits, reach-out status and any other queries and questions
- Communicating with brands and users to make introductions
- Maintaining updated records of all contacts, match-making status reports, reach outs and brand/user intros
- Managing any customer queries in a positive and timely manner
- Oversee regular review of brand partners and identify those that require additional focus
- Review brand listings prior to them going live
- Liaise with Beauty Bulb Team on feedback from brands, listing edits, logs and all updates relating to The Brand Book.
- Occasional support with Beauty Bulb social media accounts
- Analysing users, visitors and google analytics and generating feedback reports
- Identify opportunities to maximise the potential and growth of The Brand Book
- Occasional meetings in London or Burton On Trent with Founder and Team
Experience & Skills
- 2 years experience in the beauty brand/beauty retail industry
- Experience of the global beauty retail and distribution industry preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Office and Excel
- Knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram and Mail Chimp
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with tight deadlines, using strong organisation and time management skills
- Demonstratable good verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work well with others
Location: Home-based role with occasional meetings in London and Burton on Trent
Day Rate: £125 per day
Working Hours: Times and days TBD and some of the hours can be flexed
Contract Length: 6 months and 3 or 4 days per week
