JOB PURPOSE

bareMinerals and Buxom are looking for a Digital & Marketing Assistant to help drive brand awareness through digital marketing and social media. In this role, you will build and deliver a content calendar that supports trading plans and maximises engagement for our brands. You will also work closely with our online retail partners to keep brand rooms consistent and in line with the marketing calendar as well as supporting the Manager and wider marketing team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Social Media: 

• Work with Brand team to develop the social media strategy/themes, and then build up and activate day-to-day calendar and content.
• Response to customer questions/feedback on all social channels – proactive engagement and escalation where necessary.
• Monitor social media activity from our competitors and create monthly competitor review.
• Maintain and own monthly KPI report for @baremineralsuk and @buxomcosmeticsuk social channels – social media evaluation
•  Attend PR and UK Marketing events to provide social media support.
• Create Facebook Lives and tutorials with international make-up artist, SJ, retailers, Dan and Buxom. 
• Explore, identify and stay abreast of new social opportunities, channels, influencers, innovations and competitors.
• Identify digital and social opportunities for collaborations and partnerships to promote the brands.
• Pull out Insta stories, PR coverage, local content and channel.

Online Retail Partners:

• Monitor online retail partner activity for UK to ensure they are aligned and representing bareMinerals brand and guidelines.
•  Share all NPD assets to retail partner websites and check timely implementation and accuracy. 
• Work with Marketing to plan Online Partner brand treatment updates and brief into the Graphic Designer. 
• Support requests, and oversee and approve online retailer partner assets for email and other digital campaigns.
• Set up and day to day maintenance of online digital calendar of activity for all retailers.

Marketing Support:

• Update all retailer and channel price lists on an ongoing basis- with full attention to detail and communication with Demand Planning and Sales team.
• Feed into monthly Competitor Reports and issue on rotation within team. 
• Administrative marketing assistance as deemed appropriate by the Marketing Director.

Manage Key Relationships:

• UK Online, Marketing, PR teams and customer service. 
• EU and Global Social Media and Digital Marketing teams. 
• UK and Global Creative teams. 
• National Account Managers and Online eComm Partners. 
• External agency partners.

PERSON SEPCIFICATION

Essentail:

• Previous experience of social media management.
• Previous experience and competency in a busy operational marketing role. 
• A confident self-starter with drive and motivation. 
• Analytically sharp and proactive with findings. 
• Superb organisational, project and time management ability. 
• High attention to detail.
•  A keen eye for content/creation for use onsite and on social is highly desirable.
• Passion for social and digital brand expression and technology.
• Good team player, whilst being able to work under minimum supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, at all levels and across all functions.
• Excellent telephone manner and confident communicator.
• Willing to travel as per business requirements.

Desireable:

• To have worked in cosmetics or FMCG environment
• Interest in beauty/fashion/social media
• Creative flair and outlook, particularly with a camera
• Ability to come up with solutions quickly
• Commercially aware
• Knowledge of social media analytics
• Ability to learn and work with Photoshop software/editing tools
