Who are we seeking? A creative, experienced, beauty expert who will be a passionate Global Social Media & Communications Manager for our luxury brand.

Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer dotted line to PR Director

Main Purpose: To lead all social media strategy and activity for the brand across our own channels and our 3rd party partners both in the UK and Internationally. To create social campaigns that deliver both the brand messages and achieve commercial targets. To be the Brand's Champion ensuring consistency across all the channels and markets in terms of the brand positioning and tone of voice. To partner with like-minded brands for commercial gain.


Main Duties:

CRM

Social Media:

  • To develop, present and implement social media strategy in line with the wider marketing and brand objectives - including exploring new platforms and developing our existing profiles.
  • Planning, implementing and testing paid social campaigns to achieve the ecommerce sales budget.
  • To manage the paid social media budget.
  • Day to day management of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest to build a loyal community, as well as increase our following and engagement.
  • To manage and reply to all messages on the social media platforms or refer to in house colleagues where appropriate.
  • Working alongside the Ecommerce team to align campaigns and objectives.
  • Writing copy for all social posts. Liaising with the design team to brief in assets.
  • To produce a monthly global social media performance report.

Partnerships & Acquisition

  • A focus on growing the Aurelia brand by fostering collaborations with like-minded brands across social media, email campaigns, sampling, retail opportunities, PR and events. Analyse and refine campaigns based on project aims, reach and return on investment.
  • To present customer acquisition plans via social media and deliver new customers against planned activity.

International Social Media

  • To manage the growing network of global social media freelancers, to brief them on campaigns and regularly review their performance and activities and report back to the business.
  • Overseeing any local social media initiatives with bloggers and retailers to drives sales and awareness.
  • Collating coverage and success stories to share with the team.


International PR/Social

  • Manage the social media side of PR campaigns, new product launches or seasonal activity reporting into the PR Director.
  • Supporting new Global market Launches through social media campaigns. Owning the relationship Aurelia has with the key vloggers/bloggers/ partnership brands in these markets. Identifying and mapping each and every territory and implementing social strategies to grow Aurelia in this market. You will work closely with our PR Director who will be managing press within the market and sign off the overarching strategy.
  • Introducing new influencers to the brand and supporting our existing key relationships using your key industry knowledge of beauty and a passion for our brand values.


Digital Marketing

Blogger and affiliate outreach

  • Work with an external agency to manage the Aurelia affiliate campaigns - within a set budget to achieve a monthly sales target.
  • Manage and develop the Aurelia network of bloggers by creating bespoke activity to help grow revenue and social following.


PERSON SPECIFICATION

You will be required to travel to meet with brands, vloggers and bloggers as required. It is expected the role holder will be working from our London office three times a week but due to the nature of this role we can be flexible. This is a full-time position, but hours can be flexible due to the nature of the social media environment.

Experience

Minimum of 3 Years’ experience in a brand consumer marketing/communications/social media role. Minimum of 3 years in the beauty industry; 5 ideal. Please do not apply for this role without having this experience.

Skills and Knowledge: Extensive experience with marketing campaign planning and analysis. Strong digital campaign management skills. Experience of working with creative teams. Retail Marketing experience. Good broad social media knowledge. Excellent copy writing abilities highly desirable.

Education / Qualifications: Educated to degree level or equivalent.
