LOCATION
This position is located at our corporate office in London, United Kingdom.

 

POSITION OVERVIEW
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate eCommerce professional with experience in the luxury, beauty and/or fashion industry to join the world’s preeminent hotel and resort brand, launching new product verticals. The Senior eCommerce Executive / eCommerce Manager (depending on experience) will be responsible for the following key areas in order to support the continuous improvement of the service we provide to customers and reach the internal objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Day to day management of the e-commerce website (Shop.aman.com), including – but not limited to – merchandising, product management, customer journey improvements, content updates, routes to integration with Aman.com, SEO optimisation, traffic acquisition, customer retention, user experience, conversion, CMS and code updates / maintenance
  • This eCommerce role will work alongside the Retail Operations Manager to facilitate third-party solution management and integration (payment, logistics, CRM, affiliates…), customer service and satisfaction, deliveries, integration with Aman.com
  • Support the Director of Digital & E-Commerce to closely monitor the agreed KPIs and reach the revenue targets set by the business
  • Support of the Digital Marketing team where appropriate (e.g. multi-channel product campaigns, product integrations within the Aman.com framework, agency management, reporting, budgets and strategy, offline-to-online collaborations with our respective spas on resort…)
  • Optimise the implementation of the eCommerce strategy working in partnership with the Director of Retail Design & Merchandising, Director of Digital and eCommerce and Global Director of Retail Operations
  • Control and enhance the customer experience and supply chain, including the after-sales service where appropriate, working in collaboration with the wider Retail team.
  • Collaborate with the brand team to support digital and eCommerce brand guardianship for new verticals and ensuring the overall online experience is commensurate with the core Aman brand experience
  • Be the internal champion for Aman eCommerce, and the upcoming product lines, securing cross-channel exposure, budget and collaborations to drive performance of this business unit within Aman
  • Measure and report on all eCommerce activity including revenue reports as well as digital insights and trends to share across the business
  • Day-to-day monitoring of performance across Shop.aman.com and key digital campaigns to drive awareness, engagement and conversion
  • The is a predominately office based role (located near Bond Street)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Through your experience built in eCommerce in the luxury, beauty and/or fashion industries, you will have a good command of essential tools including Photoshop, MS Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint), Google Analytics, various CMS environments (BigCommerce, Magento, WooCommerce etc) and retail systems (ERP, CRM, EDI, 3PL, EPM, POS).
  • You also have great eCommerce experience related to merchandising, catalogue, promotional techniques, traffic acquisition, affiliates, pricing strategy, database management, customer service, supply chain, order management / fulfilment / delivery / export, with multiple markets / languages / currencies.
  • You have a good grasp of messaging and creative aspects to drive performance, with a good comfort level in creative writing and working with colleagues and vendors to develop engaging content. You have a strong business acumen, are sales orientated, performance driven, and know of the specificities in the luxury industry.
  • You are great with data, customer analysis and segmentation and have keen attention to detail. You are able to multitask, prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, while keeping an eye on the KPIs and the long-term objectives.
  • It would be advantageous for candidates to have experience or basic understanding of WooCommerce / BigCommerce / Shopify, HTML 5 / CSS, website development and maintenance as well as catalogue management.
