Offering clients 360 communications solutions spanning PR, social media, influencer outreach, events, affiliate partnerships, content creation, seeding, VIP and talent partnerships, Aisle 8 simplifies the new communications landscape for brands.

Responsibilities:

The PR Junior Assistant reports to the PR Manager. This exciting role will ensure you are on the front line of the beauty, fashion and lifestyle industries, building your contacts through daily media briefings and pitches contributing to KPI results. You will be responsible for the day to day running of your accounts - including reporting, sharing client coverage updates, sample management, product and image requests, news and product pitching. The role will include all reactive as well as proactive media relations with assistants, editorial team support, and content creators. You will execute all creative mailers for your assigned clients and ensure mailers are sent out in a timely manner to align with new launches to the highest of standards. Event support will also be a key responsibility working closely with the PR Manager to make a success. You will work closely with the in-house brand teams as an extension of their team.

Areas of responsibility:

  • Managing all image send outs, being the main point of contact for such requests
  • Product management – managing all product requests, ensuring options are sent and followed up with in a timely manner. Working with the showroom team to ensure product tracking is adhered to
  • Seeding stock management – implement and adhere systems to help maintain stock levels. Liaising with the client and the wider team to replenish stock where required
  • Expected to hold, maintain and grow a significant set of media contacts across traditional print, broadcast and digital media
  • Responsible for managing all emails from press and clients, that are relative to the role
  • Responsible for noticing any missed opportunities throughout target media and approaching them to secure shopping page coverage and online coverage
  • Supporting distribution of any client event invites, save the dates and creating any event specialized documents
  • Responsible for creation and distribution of all press materials such as hot-sheets and press releases
  • Responsible for monitoring and updating KPIs
  • Work closely with the PR Executive and managing intern (if applicable) to maintain brand momentum and drive editorial results
  • Develop and maintain relationships with assistant and lower-tier media levels – contacting and meeting with them on a weekly basis, making sure we’re on top of what they’re working on

Location: Aisle 8 office in Farringdon

Hours: 9am – 6pm Monday, 10am – 6pm Tuesday to Friday. Events to often run outside of these hours
