The Opportunity:

We are looking for a great full-time Social Media Manager to join our small yet mighty creative and brand
strategy agency, having the opportunity to work on a globally-awarded alcohol brand, belonging to one of the
world's leading spirits producers. A brand that has loads to offer consumers and local communities - with it's
purpose, product and marvellous experiences. Positivity and impact is so important to all right now.

You'll be responsible for ideating and developing global social content and executing this brand's community
management activity across social platforms and markets.

to working together to get things done.

We all jump in on projects to help each other when required. Our flat structure means that we'll all get our
hands dirty if need be, but that doesn't mean we don't 'own' projects.

and willingness to take initiative.

We have a long-standing relationship with this Client, so are now expanding our efforts and team to grow
across the brand and Agency business. So let's chat.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

These are largely interlinked, including:

1) Strategy support and creative content management:

  • Strategy support: Working with the Agency team to support the brand's overall strategic direction in
  • the social arena
  • Content ideation and planning: Partnering with team members for social content ideation and
  • subsequent planning of regular content calendars
  • Content production support: Working with our creative team of designers, illustrators, animators to
  • help produce the content and providing supporting copy for content pieces and social text, within the
  • brand's creative guardrails
  • Content management and distribution: Managing the content flow between agency team members,
  • Clients (central team & local markets), Client internal platforms, partner agencies and the social
  • platforms themselves in a timely and suitable manner
  • Social landscape monitoring: Keeping on the pulse with landscape offerings and opportunities

2) Community management:

  • Community management: Running community management on selected social profiles / pages:
  • Proposing, scheduling, uploading, posting, replying, monitoring, escalating and the likes. This would
  • be weighted to organic community management and varied efforts for profile feeds, leading to and
  • supporting consumer awareness, engagement and brand purpose understanding
  • Social reporting: Running regular reports on social activity across both platforms and local markets -
  • calling out observation trends, insights, improvements required and potential opportunities
  • uncovered
  • Paid media support: Familiarising with, liaising and suggesting - if and when applicable - to the implementation of paid media campaigns with media partners

3) Brand, market and agency partnerships:

  • Global (central) brand team: Having active involvement and clarity with the central, global Client team
  • on areas of accountability
  • Local market teams: Liaising with local markets to excite, guide, learn from and create content with
  • them (largely from their local market initiatives or central brand adaptations)
  • Inter-agencies: Working with other agencies involved on a regular basis - e.g.: media, PR, commerce
  • Influencer connections: Extension into influencers likely (as applicable)


CAPABILITIES & PERSONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Circa 3 years experience across key social channels (Instagram experience mandatory), from social
  • strategy support to content ideation, from publishing to active community management to regular
  • reporting
  • Ideally have worked with a brand across markets, using a social content planning & management tool
  • to do so (Sprinklr as an example could be a bonus)
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills, to be able to develop / explain / respond / report
  • Know-how of the social media landscape & a keenness to keep on top of new platform offerings /
  • advancements
  • Ability to work in a proactive & flexible manner
  • Any experience working on beverage, alcohol, fashion or hospitality brands could help (yet not
  • mandatory)
