Founded by award-winning Royalty & Celebrity Facialist and Certified Chinese Medicine Practitioner Ada Ooi with over 16 years of experience, inspired a range of skincare, wellness products and protocols based on clients' cases not only from our Harley Street clinic, but also from the most demanding red carpet events and entertainment schedules.


001 is a natural East meets West British brand, all of our products are researched, formulated and made in London. The brand is growing at a fast pace with a global footprint.
Clinic evidence, performance and experience focused, 001 Skincare London is a highly coveted collection infused with bio-chemistry, traditional Chinese medicine practice, advanced cosmetology, and wellness "To Treat From Within" for all ages and skin types.


Position Statement: 

001 Skincare’s Creative Content Executive will work closely with the team and the Founder to form a strategy, plan and execute all aspects of the content for communications across marketing and social platforms. Your words, images and videos bring our brand to life through social media, articles, blog posts, web pages, retail signage, and more. A passion for communicating through written word and moving images, skincare, beauty, wellness, mindfulness, creating content to CREATE A COMMUNITY to inspire and fulfill treating beauty from within along with the curiosity to find out what motivates our existing and new customers’. 

 

Position Summary: 
Content Planning and Creation

  • Create, and maintain, an annual content marketing calendar and communication plan with the goal to create and constantly expand a community with like-minded audience or create inspiration and aspiration to those who are not familiar with the brand or our ethos. 
  • Create engaging content with consideration to industry or social trends, seasonality relevance with the goal to engage new customers and keep existing customers coming back and involved in the brand.
  • Have a holistic view of content across all platforms including website, newsletters and social media etc. and be able to strategically plan for content recycling across platforms over time to increase brand’s appearance to enhance impact on audience’s impressions, aiming to be the top of mind brand.
  • Have a clear commercial vision for content created to generate relevant call to actions
  • Able to strategise, design and work with retail partners/collaborators to co-create content for mutual benefits.
  • Must have the ability to concept, write, shoot, edit to create high quality articles, images or videos for web pages, digital, signage, blog, emails, socials, headlines, and more.
  • Analytical thinker who understands the power of data and how we can improve performance by reviewing member insights.
  • Be a brand voice advocate. Work with internal teams and outside vendors to accurately represent the brand voice according to the brand style guide and mission.
  • Must have strong organizational skills to develop the weekly, monthly, and annual calendar as well as execute the content. The ability to pivot as needed based on trends and outcomes is important.
  • A passion for skincare, beauty, health, and wellness, and motivation, for people of all ages Social Media Planning and Implementation
  • Define and execute the brand’s tone of voice across social platforms.
  • Create a dynamic social media calendar that will help drive the engagement and acquisition of members.
  • Partner with the Business Development team and agencies to develop content that is relevant, engaging, and supports initiatives
  • Create original, engaging social media content 
  • Build each channel’s followers, engagement, and reach by understanding the type of content that performs best using each channel’s data and insights.
  • Develop, implement, and manage social media plan for the brand pages keeping them fresh and on-trend.
  • Review social analytics and provide weekly and monthly updates on trends and KPIs, devise and execute actions from the data.
  • Manage social comments and community, including commenting on and engaging with posts from followers, non-followers, influencers, and brands.
  • When applicable, create briefs for creative and video content.
  • Lead affiliate marketing, manage dashboards and scout, manage affiliates.
  • Lead consumer, affiliates, influencer and brand collaborations, engagement and create user-generated content to grow our community.
  • Ability to manage social media posts and insights using Meltwater our media monitor and social listening platform.
  • Stay abreast of current best practices in the industry and review competitor websites and social channels to compare their activities 
  • Ability to produce thought-provoking creative with photo and video editing experience.  Digital presence and newsletters
  • Create regular updates across our websites and other platforms with our brand name on them
  • Write/recycle content for blogs and website with SEO in mind
  • Create regular newsletters 
  • Create digital campaigns for new email sign ups 

Work closely with the Founder to create digital guides to attract a wider target audience We value your ideas – suggest – and let’s make it happen!


Qualifications

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Marketing or other relevant fields

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, English, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in social media, Communications, or Marketing for an agency, brand, or PR firm.
  • Passion for storytelling, video making, writing, and editing.
  • Expert knowledge of social media platforms (IG, FB, Tik Tok, Twitter, YouTube, and new trends) including detailed knowledge of current online tools and marketing trends, including SEO.
  • Early adoptor of Tik Tok is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical thinker with creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for skincare and wellness with a curiosity to stay up on current trends, content trends, and social media trends.
  • A team player who can work quickly and efficiently as part of a team with the ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Hybrid role based in London.
