Junior Account Manager - PR & Influencer

WIZARD, the award-winning beauty and lifestyle PR consultancy based in London, N1 is looking for a passionate, hard-working Junior Account Manager to work across several global beauty accounts handling Press and Influencer Relations, sponsored campaigns and assisting on event planning. The ideal candidate must have a passion for beauty.

The candidate will manage the day to day running of the accounts, maximising existing relationships with key media – press and Influencers, to drive quality coverage across all clients. A minimum of at least 3 years of PR experience working in a leading beauty agency across beauty and lifestyle brands is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicating daily with clients to include the presentation of reports and updates.
• Support on executing a client’s communications strategy to include digital, social and print media.
• Experience managing budgets.
• Implement and manage the PR calendar to support all launch initiatives and ongoing strategies.
• Creating on-target mailing lists – press and Influencers – across beauty, grooming, lifestyle and fashion
• Event management to include managing a client’s budget and logistics to ensure strong attendance.
• Continually building relationships with both press and Influencers allowing regular and successful media outreach and pitching of new launches.
• Securing qualitative coverage across all digital, print and social platforms.
• Produce creative and engaging written and digital press materials.
• Participate in creative brainstorming and client strategy meetings.
• Build strong and collaborative relationships with clients.
• Monitor and send weekly and monthly coverage reports, working closely with assistant across all clients.
• Monitor client coverage figures, feeding back to Directors with updates and solutions if needed.
• Support training and developing junior members of the team.
• Oversee and organise seeding programs to drive awareness and build advocacy.
• Have an always-on strategy for clients, ensuing coverage & outreach is ongoing.
• Influencer and UGC campaign management to include selecting the Influencers for that campaign and working with Acct Director to create the brief and contracts.

The Ideal Candidate:

• At least 3 years’ experience in beauty PR in an agency or in-house.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Excellent media/influencer contacts.
• Demonstrate ability to show initiative and to work independently.
• Good knowledge of the industry, competitors and media landscape.
• Can do attitude and ready to hit the ground running.
• Multitasker with great time/organisational skills.
• Strong writing, communication, and language skills.
• Results driven to ensure KPIs are met.
• Creative and passionate about all things beauty and have a knowledge of the media landscape incl. traditional/social titles.
• Excellent media relations and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and across several accounts.
• Contribute positively in a team environment.
• Friendly, hardworking and positive outlook.
