What’s the Job?

ghd are recruiting for an experienced, motivated and passionate PR Manager to join the high performing in-house PR team in London. Working across the Global and UK teams, this is an exciting role that will shape the PR strategy for the brand globally and will manage the execution of PR activities in the local UK market. 

A passion for the beauty industry, plus strong influencer and press contacts are essential.

What will I do?

• Present and deliver fresh, forward thinking ideas to maintain the market leading results that the ghd PR team have delivered year on year 
• Work alongside the global marketing team to create global toolkits that will shape the PR for the brand globally 
• Work alongside the UK team to create and implement UK PR strategies to support all launch plans
• Manage the influencer strategy – paid and organic 
• Continually liaise with influencers and journalists to secure coverage for the brand across all media touchpoints 
• Manage and oversee key PR events and trips (Global and UK) – past trips include Coachella, Finland and Morocco 
• Work closely alongside the ghd social media team to ensure all campaigns and initiatives align with the ghd social media strategy 
• Manage and deliver results and reports based on agreed KPIs, and ensure results are cascaded to all stakeholders on a regular basis
• Manage and monitor the budget for the UK PR
• Manage at least one team member

What skills and qualities will I need?

• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Minimum of seven years beauty PR experience
• Strong and established influencer and press contacts 
• Strong writing skills
• An eye for detail and accuracy
• Creative and wide-ranging ideas 
• Knowledge of the beauty and hair industry
