Based in Hammersmith, Dundas Communications is a boutique PR agency, specialising in celebrity, brand and charity campaigns. We are a small team, with incredible clients. Our brand clients include Charlotte Tilbury, Disney, TK Maxx, Go Outdoors and CoppaFeel!. We also represent a number of celebrities for personal publicity including, Emma Willis, Billie Piper, Paddy McGuinness, Jamie Laing, Olivia Attwood, Dermot O’Leary and Anita Rani, among others.

We are looking for a strong Senior Account Executive to join our team to work across a variety of both brand and celebrity clients. You will be responsible for pitching stories to the media, developing media relationships, going to shoots, attending red carpets and managing client interviews. The ideal candidate will need to be able to cope well in a busy environment whilst managing upwards to your senior team and working collaboratively with your Accountant Executive and Assistant on day to day tasks. You must be able to ‘hit the ground running’ as a key member of our team.

The successful candidate will have to have:

• A minimum of 12 months agency or in house experience
• Previous experience in celebrity and brand PR campaigns
• The ability to manage multiple clients and projects
• Strong writing and pitching skills
• Proven media relations expertise
• Excellent contacts in consumer media
• Some experience in managing team and/or delegating to team members would be useful
• The ability to work independently
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of social media
• The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment

Day to day responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing daily coverage collation for clients within traditional and online press, and social media
• Pitching stories and interviews to press
• Managing client communications, project management when required
• Developing journalist contacts
• Attending events, shoots, red carpets with clients
• Contributing towards new business pitches
• Supporting junior members and leading by example
