This is a commercial role for an experienced fashion, beauty or lifestyle industry professional. You’ll win new members, help renew existing ones and grow DIARY directory’s client base, working to sales targets.

About us

DIARY directory supplies news, dates, contacts and influencer insight to fashion, beauty and lifestyle press, PRs and brands on a membership basis. Our members include Vogue, Harrods, MODUS, Gucci and L’Oréal. We have a long-standing reputation for excellent customer service, and we’re a small, friendly, fully remote team.

The role

We’re looking for an experienced industry professional to take ownership of membership growth. You’ll sell memberships to PR, marketing and talent agencies, brands and the media. The work is consultative: you’ll tailor each offer to the customer’s size and budget, in an industry where relationships and trust matter. You’ll work alongside our Client Relations Manager.

What you’ll do

• Respond to membership enquiries and follow up warm leads
• Run video demos, pitch the platform and close new business
• Tailor membership offers to each customer’s needs and budget
• Help look after existing members and manage renewals
• Work to agreed sales targets, and report on your pipeline and forecast
• Spot new markets and areas for growth
• Share feedback with the team

About you

• 2+ years’ experience in PR, brand partnerships, media sales or account management in fashion, beauty or lifestyle
• A proven record of closing deals and meeting or exceeding targets
• Excellent negotiation skills and a consultative approach
• Experience working with or selling to PR, marketing, talent or media teams
• Strong knowledge of the UK press, PR, marketing and influencer landscape
• Confident and personable on calls and in writing
• Self-motivated, organised and reliable, with experience of remote working

Package

• Salary: £24,000–£30,000 pro rata (£40,000–£50,000 FTE), depending on experience, plus commission
• Hours: part-time, 3 full days a week (ideally Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
• Location: fully remote
• Contract: 12-month fixed term, with possible scope to continue
