capsule. - Influencer and Community Manager (London) job

Influencer and Community Manager

WE ARE capsule. group

We are a modern marketing house built to create influence.

capsule. group brings together four specialist lenses; Communications, Community, Consumer and Creative, under one connected proposition.

We believe the most influential brands aren't built through one channel. They're built when earned media, creators, culture, content and real-world experience work together, each strengthening the other.

That's where we come in.

We combine cultural intelligence, strategic thinking and specialist expertise to help ambitious brands earn attention, build meaningful communities and create lasting relevance. From shaping reputation and driving digital discovery to creator advocacy and IRL brand experiences, we connect every touchpoint through one clear strategic thread.

We are the red thread.

Our work is increasingly integrated, but our expertise remains specialist. We care about ideas, but equally about their execution. We value creativity alongside commercial thinking, cultural relevance alongside measurable impact, and ambition alongside operational excellence.

And the same thinking applies to our people.

capsule. group is built around individuals with different perspectives, disciplines and strengths. We want people to develop deep expertise while having the opportunity to think beyond their own lens, collaborate across the Group and understand the bigger picture of how modern brands are built.

We are ambitious about where capsule. group is going and equally serious about building a culture where talented people can grow, contribute and do the best work of their careers.

Our portfolio includes Laneige, Aestura, BUBBLE, Batiste, Dermatica, Dr Reju-All, HERO, MediHeal, Sacheu, CurrentBody, Debbie Thomas Clinic, Hero, Mario Badescu, Lumene…

About the role

We're looking for an organised, creative and relationship-driven Influencer & Community Manager to join our growing agency.

This role brings together influencer marketing and community management. You'll help our clients build meaningful relationships with both creators and their wider audiences—developing influencer campaigns, nurturing online communities and identifying opportunities for genuine engagement.

You'll manage influencer campaigns from initial strategy and creator selection through to content delivery, reporting and evaluation. Alongside this, you'll support the day-to-day management and growth of client communities across relevant social platforms.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands that successful influencer and community marketing is about more than reach. You'll help brands build trust, encourage conversation and create long-term advocacy through thoughtful content, responsive communication and authentic relationships.

The ideal candidate combines creative and strategic thinking with strong project-management skills. You'll be comfortable communicating with clients, creators and consumers; managing several workstreams; interpreting audience sentiment; and turning cultural and community insights into practical recommendations.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • Pension scheme
  • Health and wellbeing support, including an employee assistance programme
  • Four additional digital detox days each year
  • Ongoing learning and professional development
  • Recognition initiatives celebrating exceptional work
  • One paid volunteering day each year
  • Opportunity to shape campaigns for leading beauty, wellness, lifestyle and aesthetics brands
  • A collaborative agency culture built around creativity, ambition, accountability and growth

Key responsibilities

Influencer strategy and planning

  • Turn client briefs and business objectives into clear influencer strategies and campaign plans.
  • Develop creative influencer concepts that are relevant to the brand, its audience and the wider cultural conversation.
  • Define campaign objectives, target audiences, creator criteria, content formats and key performance indicators.
  • Recommend the right mix of creator profiles, platforms and content formats for each campaign.
  • Build campaign plans, budgets, timelines and scopes of work.
  • Identify opportunities for always-on creator partnerships, ambassador programmes and longer-term advocacy.
  • Contribute influencer and community expertise to wider social, PR and integrated marketing strategies.
  • Support new-business proposals with campaign ideas, creator recommendations and budget estimates.

Creator discovery and selection

  • Research and identify influencers and content creators who align with each client's brand, audience and objectives.
  • Assess creators based on content quality, audience relevance, engagement, brand fit, reputation and previous partnerships.
  • Use influencer platforms, social research, community insights and existing relationships to build considered talent lists.
  • Identify emerging creators, community leaders, advocates and influential voices within relevant sectors.
  • Present creator recommendations to clients with clear reasoning and supporting data.
  • Maintain and develop the agency's creator database and talent network.
  • Ensure creator selections represent a diverse range of voices, communities and perspectives.

Creator outreach and relationship management

  • Lead outreach to influencers, creators, agents and talent managers.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with creators and their representatives.
  • Negotiate fees, deliverables, timelines, usage rights, exclusivity and additional costs.
  • Work with internal teams or legal partners to prepare and manage creator agreements.
  • Brief and onboard creators, ensuring campaign expectations are clearly understood.
  • Act as a professional and supportive point of contact throughout each collaboration.
  • Create a positive campaign experience that encourages creators to work with the agency again.

  • Consolidate feedback into clear, constructive guidance for creators.
  • Manage content revisions and approvals efficiently while maintaining positive relationships.
  • Ensure content is published accurately, on time and with the correct tags, links and disclosures.
  • Monitor campaigns once live and respond quickly to delivery or reputational issues.
  • Keep clients and internal stakeholders informed through regular progress updates.
  • Manage multiple campaigns and workstreams without compromising quality or attention to detail.

Community strategy

  • Develop community-management strategies aligned with each client's brand, audience and wider marketing objectives.
  • Help define the purpose, personality, tone of voice and engagement principles for client communities.
  • Identify the platforms, spaces and conversations where clients can participate meaningfully.
  • Develop plans to attract, engage and retain relevant community members.
  • Create community content themes, conversation starters and engagement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to turn customers, followers and creators into long-term advocates.
  • Support the development of ambassador, loyalty, membership or advocacy programmes.
  • Work with social and creative teams to ensure content reflects community interests and encourages participation.
  • Use audience questions, feedback and behaviours to inform content and campaign planning.

Day-to-day community management

  • Manage and moderate client communities across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and other relevant channels.
  • Respond to comments, messages, mentions and community conversations in the agreed brand tone of voice.
  • Engage proactively with relevant creators, customers, fans and cultural conversations.
  • Encourage positive, two-way conversations rather than relying solely on reactive responses.
  • Make community members feel recognised, heard and valued.

  • Escalate customer-service, safeguarding, legal or reputational issues through the correct channels.
  • Maintain response guides, frequently asked questions and escalation procedures.

  • Recognise cultural moments and conversations where a client could participate credibly.
  • Turn community feedback into useful insights for clients and internal teams.
  • Share audience language, behaviours and content preferences with creative and strategy teams.
  • Identify potential opportunities for content, partnerships, product development or customer experience improvements.
  • Produce regular updates on community sentiment, trends and notable conversations.

Content and editorial support

  • Work with creative and social teams to develop content informed by community needs and behaviours.
  • Contribute ideas for social posts, creator content, recurring community formats and engagement initiatives.
  • Write or adapt social copy, comments, direct responses and conversation prompts in the appropriate tone of voice.
  • Help maintain community and campaign content calendars.
  • Identify and obtain permission to use appropriate user-generated content.
  • Encourage community members to contribute stories, feedback and content.
  • Ensure creator, brand and community content feels consistent across relevant channels.
  • Recommend content optimisations based on audience response and performance.

Measurement and reporting

  • Agree meaningful campaign and community objectives with clients and internal teams.
  • Track influencer performance across reach, impressions, engagement, views, clicks, conversions and other relevant metrics.
  • Measure community health using indicators such as engagement, response time, sentiment, participation, audience growth and advocacy.
  • Collect content links, screenshots, analytics and creator insights.
  • Monitor performance throughout campaigns and recommend optimisations where appropriate.
  • Produce clear and accurate campaign and community reports.
  • Translate data, conversations and audience behaviour into practical insights.
  • Identify successful creators, content formats, topics and engagement approaches.
  • Present results and recommendations to clients with confidence.

About You

You'll be a natural fit for this role if you're passionate about influencer marketing, understand what makes online communities tick and know how to turn creator relationships into impactful brand campaigns.

You'll have 4+ years' experience across influencer marketing, community, social media, PR or an agency environment, with demonstrable experience managing earned and paid influencer campaigns end-to-end — from strategy, casting and briefing through to negotiation, contracting, content delivery, amplification and reporting.

You'll be confident selecting and briefing creators, negotiating fees and deliverables, managing contracts, usage rights, licensing, paid-media permissions and exclusivity, while building strong relationships with influencers, agents and talent managers. Ideally, you'll already have a strong network within the creator landscape and a natural ability to identify both established and emerging talent.

You'll understand how influencer, social and community work together, and how creator activity can extend beyond individual campaigns to build advocacy, loyalty and genuine brand communities. You'll have experience across ambassador programmes, UGC, creator-led social advertising and integrated campaigns that bring together influencer, social, PR, partnerships, content and IRL activations.

You'll have a strong working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and emerging platforms, alongside a genuine understanding of internet culture, audience behaviour and community sentiment. You'll be able to spot cultural opportunities, understand what will resonate with different audiences and confidently navigate sensitive creator or community conversations while protecting the brand's tone of voice.

You'll also bring:

  • Strong project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, creators, communities, deadlines and budgets simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting strategies, creator recommendations and campaign results to clients.
  • Strong relationship-management and negotiation skills, with experience managing creators, agents and talent managers.
  • Commercial awareness and confidence managing campaign budgets, creator fees and negotiations.
  • Experience using influencer discovery, campaign-management, community-management, social-listening and reporting platforms.
  • Confidence working with data and turning campaign performance into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Strong knowledge of influencer advertising regulations, disclosure requirements and best practice.
  • Excellent attention to detail across contracts, deliverables, approvals, usage rights and campaign timelines.
  • Experience contributing to creative ideation, pitches and new-business opportunities.
  • Experience supporting and mentoring junior team members.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to remain calm, organised and thoughtful in a fast-moving agency environment.
  • A genuine interest in people, culture, creators, online behaviour and relationship building, with a passion for the beauty, wellness, lifestyle and aesthetics landscape.

What success looks like

Success in this role means:

  • Influencer campaigns are delivered on time, within budget and to a consistently high standard.
  • Client communities feel active, engaged, supported and listened to.
  • Creators and community members receive clear, thoughtful and timely communication.
  • Talent recommendations demonstrate strong brand fit, audience relevance and strategic thinking.
  • Clients receive useful audience insights, not simply activity updates.
  • Community conversations help inform content, campaigns and wider brand decisions.
  • Potential risks are identified early and managed appropriately.
  • Long-term relationships with creators, advocates and community members continue to grow.
  • The agency strengthens its influencer capabilities, community expertise and client relationships.
