Capsule Comms is looking for an Account Director/ Senior Account Manager to join its growing team after recently acquiring some exciting new brands. The candidate will need to have at least 4 years’ PR experience working within the beauty and lifestyle arena.

Your main roles and responsibilities will include: 

• Deliver a strategic comms approach by supporting / co-leading on client proposals 
• Be insights driven and communicate industry knowledge to the wider business
• Help implement relevant processes across the business 
• Managing a mixture of health/lifestyle and beauty accounts
• Building key client relationships to become a trusted extension of their team  
• Events; creative concept, time management and implementation 
• Building and maintaining key media and influencer contacts
• Creating and managing key pitching angels to generate coverage opportunities  
• Support /manage client asset creation 
• Experience managing budget trackers with accuracy and an eye for detail 
• Contract negotiation with talent and industry professionals
• Confident leading meetings, calls and representing the client and Capsule Comms agency
• Delivering against set KPIs and ensuring targets are met

Skills & Requirements:

• Strategic thinker with a proven track record of creating and implementing brand proposals 
• Results driven to ensure ROI is being met across the board 
• Strong health, beauty and wellness relations (journalists and influencers)
• Excellent writing, communication and language skills 
• Thorough reporting and confident presentation skills 
• Creative and dynamic; an always on attitude and unrivalled passion for the industry
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills with confidence to manage up as well as down
• Extensive knowledge of the UK media landscape; including print, digital, social and broadcast
• A “can-do” attitude; commitment to supporting colleagues, meeting deadlines and going the extra mile in a fast-paced environment
