WWD reveals the 2025 top 100 beauty companies

WWD has unveiled its 2025 Beauty Inc Top 100, an annual ranking of the world's largest beauty companies by sales.

  • Total sales for all 100 companies reached $258.99 billion, up 2.7% year-over-year.
  • 74% of companies saw their sales increase, with 29% seeing double-digit gains. Of the 21% of companies with declining sales, only two - LG H&H and Nu Skin Enterprises - were down in the double digits.
  • Among the Top 20 players, only two - Puig and Amorepacific - saw growth surpass the mid-single digits. Eleven of the 20 leading companies saw their sales decline.
  • Four brands surpassed the billion-dollar sales threshold for the first time: Dolce & Gabbana Beauty, Naos, Chicmax and Neora.
  • For this list, “beauty” includes fragrance, make-up, skin care, body care, sun care, hair care, deodorant, plus cellulite and shaving products. It does not include bar soaps, razors, toothpastes, food and diet foods, medicines, vitamins, detergents or appliances.
