Woodthorpe Comms has been appointed to handle press and public relations for Globe Travel Centre. Launched in 2005, Globe Travel Centre creates tailor-made holiday services that overlook no detail, offers authenticity and luxury, and is ethically responsible towards the environment and the locals at each destination, including planting a tree in the name of every traveller.  Woodthorpe’s remit includes both digital and print campaigns communicating services, values and ethics of the business through press trips, reviews and news stories.

Additionally, new sustainable mens and womens accessories brand, New Global Traveller, has also appointed Woodthorpe Comms to manage the UK and US PR for its Kickstarter campaign launching January 2017. A capsule collection designed in the UK and made in India, the range includes rucksack, bucket bag, laptop bag, ipad case, weekend holdall and more, all made using a combination of premium leather and upcycled car tyres from India. The agency will also be handling Buster Mantis, a new South London destination that combines a Jamaican restaurant, bar and an creative space, all contained in two converted railway arches. 

The team at Woodthorpe Comms has also expanded with the appointment of Delia Tesileanu as Account Manager. Delia has worked with global cultural events and agency offering a wealth of experience and will be working across all accounts.
