Waitrose is introducing a new podcast - Life on a Plate - hosted by restaurant critic, writer and editor Jimi Famurewa and Waitrose food editor, Alison Oakervee. Each episode of the podcast will feature an interview with a well-known guest, exploring their life through food, from childhood memories and work, to relationships and lifelong passions.

The first episode, launched on January 7 2021, features an interview with author, TV presenter and winner of The Great British Bake Off, Nadiya Hussain. Future interviewees include chef Tom Kerridge and comedian Sarah Millican.

Each episode of the podcast will be between 30 and 45 minutes in length, and a new episode will be available to download from all major platforms every Thursday from 7 January.
