UNIQLO has launched "Stories She Tells", a global initiative promoting women's literary creation through cultural events, scholarships, and its first literary magazine.

The initiative launches with a cultural programme featuring Co-Founder Cate Blanchett, writers, and other women advocating for greater equality. An annual print magazine will seek creative texts and research projects addressing the advancement of women and the creation of a more inclusive society through an open call for submissions. The first issue will launch with a call for contributions in Japan.

Following the kick-off event at the University of Tokyo in 2026, the initiative will expand to cities worldwide.
