Kelly Conniff, (pictured, left) has been promoted from senior executive editor to deputy editor at TIME USA. In this role, Kelly will work alongside editor-in-chief, Sam Jacobs to make day-to-day and strategic decisions for TIME's journalism, and lead editorial relationships across the company. Kelly will also help lead staff to deliver high-impact journalism and prioritise achieving quality results within the newsroom. Kelly will continue to manage the Culture, Health, and Ideas sections as well as overseeing digital.

Additionally, Dan Macsai, (pictured, right) has been promoted from vice president of TIME Events to chief events officer at TIME USA. Dan's role will involve convening new communities, growing the events business, and shaping the future of TIME’s live journalism around the world. Dan will carry out this new role alongside his pre-existing role as executive editor.
