TikTok and BAFTA have announced an expanded year round partnership for 2026, building on the success of recent awards seasons and recognising the growing role creators play in how audiences discover and celebrate film and television.

Over the past 12 months, #Movie has generated more than 40 million posts globally, up 81% year on year, while discovery-led communities continue to grow rapidly, #WhatToWatch has doubled to six million posts and #BAFTA posts are up 60%year on year.

In 2026, TikTok and BAFTA will build on this creator-led momentum through:

• An official BAFTA content hub, a year-round collaboration with entertainment publishers on official content and, for the first time, standout creators can win tickets to attend the EE BAFTA Film Awards.
• Spotlighting BAFTA-nominated film and television titles, with a particular focus on UK-relevant programming around the BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises.
• Creators will remain at the heart of the partnership, with select creators receiving access to BAFTA screenings, industry events and panels throughout the year, strengthening the connection between TikTok creators and the wider screen industries.
