Aja Whitaker-Moore (pictured, left), previously Editor-in-Chief at Axios, has been appointed Deputy Editor-in-Chief at New York-based newspaper The Wall Street Journal.

Additionally, David Crow (pictured, right), currently Executive Editor at The Wall Street Journal, has been promoted to Deputy Editor-in-Chief.

Together, David and Aja will be critical partners in all aspects of newsgathering operations. David will oversee news and manage stories across all coverage areas, while Aja will focus on digital operations, talent development and the integration of AI throughout the newsroom. 

Both Aja and Dan will commence their roles 15 December.
