The New York Times audience team has announced the following updates:

• Emma Lumeij has joined the team as an Audience Editor, where she'll be working on the lifestyle desks, including The Book Review, Real Estate and Travel. She was previously an Audience Editor on the Real Estate desk.
• Kendall Blomfield has been appointed Associate Audience Editor, Styles. In her new role, Kendall will be helping Styles to deepen its engagement with readers by staying on top of trends, presenting regular insights and leading audience planning for large projects. She will also be running the Styles Instagram account.
• Christine Nguyen has joined the team as Visuals Editor working across sub-brands, including The Athletic, Cooking, Games, Wirecutter and Audio. Christine will help shape the way the sub-brand offerings appear on the main New York Times social accounts.
• Chloe Shakin has joined the London audience team as Social Editor and will be leading the social report during key hours from London. Chloe will strategise programming for international and USA audiences. She will also provide regular reporting to the London newsroom on audience performance and identify coverage opportunities based on social trends and competitive analysis.
• Jordan Allen has been appointed Social Editor and will be helping shape the social report every day across all the platforms, along with experimenting with new ones as they come up.
