Sophie Thompson has been promoted from Short-Form Content Editor to Deputy Editor at The Independent's digital news platform Indy100. As well as helping shape and lead the team, she’ll be writing all things lifestyle and entertainment features. Sophie is also a presenter across the brand’s video platforms, and will continue this aspect of her role.
