The Good Housekeeping Institute (GHI) has announced the launch of the inaugural Fit for Life Awards, a new accolade dedicated to championing the wellness products that genuinely deliver on their claims.

The GHI’s goal is to independently test and highlight the best-performing health and fitness products available, from fitness trackers to workout kit, putting them through their paces in our lab and gym and also with GH members trialling at home.

Both new and hero products are eligible for submission, provided they are available for purchase in the UK.

Categories:

• Wearables (smart watches, rings, fitness trackers)
• Home fitness equipment (weights, treadmills, yoga mats)
• Activewear (leggings, running jackets, sports bras)
• Footwear – walking/hiking, barefoot and orthopaedic (trainers are not eligible)
• Supplements (e.g. creatine, protein powders, collagen)
• Diffusers and aromatherapy tools
• Recovery tools (massage guns, compression boots)

Submission fee: £350 + VAT per product entry (non-refundable). Brands will be invoiced within 14 days of entry.

Deadlines:

• Supplements: Friday 10 July
• All other categories: Friday 24 July

Winners will be published online in January 2027 and in the Good Housekeeping print issue in February 2027.
