After more than two years of operation, men’s subscription box service and online retail startup The Gents Pack has announced that it will cease trading in September 2016.
The last Gents Pack subscription box will be shipped on 15 August and online store orders on 31 August. The closure has been put down to an “uncertain British economy”, making importing both unpredictable and unprofitable. With the cost per acquisition ever increasing and customers continuing to demand lower prices for luxury goods, the retail industry is one of the toughest markets to launch in.
