After more than 27 years in the industry, award-winning Beauty Editor, Donna Francis is launching The Beauty Ed® on Substack, featuring a first-of-its-kind media incubator: The Lab. Operating under the federally registered American trademark The Beauty Ed®, the brand is expanding its footprint to include a permanent American and London presence.
Donna remains the primary USA contact, alongside Marketing Director, Hayley Beard, with Gia Yianni and Paloma Sedeno serving as regular contributors in London.
The Beauty Ed® is a free-to-access Substack, prioritising the values that Donna has championed throughout her career: truth, honesty, kindness and transparency. The publication’s purpose is to help everyone feel the best, most confident version of themselves. The publication is developing opt-in newsletters that speak to targeted audiences. So far, there is The 40+ Project, edited by Donna and THE LAB, written by Gen A students mentored by Donna. As a mentor, she is also guiding Gen Z post-grads to write beauty reviews, opinion pieces and trend observations with sincere narrative-driven, human storytelling.
The Beauty Ed® is open for UK and USA press event invitations, brand partnerships, and product call-ins.
