USA-based monthly news publication The Atlantic has announced the following new roles and promotions in the newsroom:

• Marc Novicoff (pictured, left) has changed role from Assistant Editor to Staff Writer.
• Nancy Walecki (pictured, centre) has changed role from Associate Editor to Staff Writer.
• Michael Zelenko (pictured, right), previously Executive Editor at Rest of World, has been appointed Senior Editor. Michael has spent over a decade directing technology coverage, his recent work has focused on AI, electric vehicles, and China's presence in the USA tech ecosystem.
