This month sees the launch of Supplement Magazine, published by Plus Agency. Jointly edited by Justin Quirk (formerly editorial director for the Soho House Group, and features writer for The Times, Sunday Times and The Guardian) and Alex Rayner (former deputy editor at Dazed & Confused, senior editor at The Face, and contributor to The Times, The Guardian and Phaidon.com) alongside Tom Lardner and Chris West, co-founders of Plus Agency, Supplement is a new magazine devoted to contemporary culture. Supplement’s mission is to inspire, educate and excite creative minds, and is curated like a gallery, presenting a neutral aesthetic allowing the words and images commissioned by the magazine from leading figures in the fashion, art and design communities to live as if they were being presented in a gallery setting. Tom Lardner, Co-Creative Director, says “We want to collaborate with and hand creativity back to the image makers, creatives, writers and academics who inspire us, because we love and admire their work and ideas.” Supplement launches on 15 October Retailing at £12/€20/$24 the magazine will be distributed across the UK, Europe and America via leading newsagents, bookstores, art galleries and specialist outlets.
