Shrimps announces collaboration with Habitat

Fashion brand Shrimps has announced its debut collection with Habitat. The range will be Hannah Weiland's, Creative Director of Shrimps, first interiors collection. It will be a limited edition capsule of rugs, cushions, throws, bedding, bedspreads and wall art using artwork from the Shrimps archive.
Hannah Weiland, Creative Director of Shrimps comments, 'We’ve gone back to the archives for this collaboration bringing together artworks and ideas from different seasons, re-working our favourite characters and designs that have all been part of the Shrimps family over the years. As you might sense from the teaser, there’s quite an ethereal theme behind the collection - make-believe creatures, Venetian jesters, doodled faces – based around a palette of pink and red, interspersed with pops of gold and Breton stripe. We’ve interpreted these ideas across a series of textiles with different production techniques, from hand-woven rugs and crewelwork cushions to digital print bedding and screen printed dhurries. And, you never know, faux fur might be making an appearance...'
