Aviva Bechky, previously food reporter at the Houston Chronicle, has been appointed Food Reporter at daily newspaper San Francisco Chronicle.

Aviva is based in San Jose and will report on food in the South Bay and on the Peninsula. They will also write a new South Bay food newsletter every Wednesday morning, starting in November.
