Riccardo Vannetti has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer at luxury Italian fashion group Salvatore Ferragamo. Vannetti, who will join the group on 5 July, will be responsible for the planning and the implementation of all marketing and communication activities related to the brand strategy. Ricardo will report to the Vice Chairman, James Ferragamo, Brand and Product Director.
Graduated in Art History, Riccardo started his professional career as a freelance journalist for fashion magazines L'Uomo Vogue, MF Fashion and L'Officiel Hommes. Ricardo later held international managerial positions at Condé Nast, Dismi Int'l, Value Retail, CoreCapital Equity Fund, and then consolidated his experience by providing support and strategic advice to fashion designers. Since January 2016 he has held the Tutorship Division Director at Pitti Immagine.
Riccardo's appointment aims to strengthen the managerial structure of the group in order to pursue the brand relaunching strategy under the guidance of the Executive Chairman, Ferruccio Ferragamo.
