Sean Woods and Shirley Halperin have been appointed Co-Editors-in-Chief at New York-based monthly music & culture magazine Rolling Stone.

Sean has held the position of Executive Editor for over 25 years and will commence his role immediately. Shirley has joined Rolling Stone from her previous role as Co-Editor-in-Chief at The Hollywood Reporter and will be serving as both Co-Editor-in-Chief and Head of Music, splitting her time between New York and Los Angeles. She will commence her role 1 September.

Together, Sean and Shirley will work closely with Rolling Stone CEO Julian Holguin to shape the editorial direction.
