Whitehair Co has been appointed to handle the press and publicity for Scottish-based women’s outerwear label Protected Species. Created by an all-female team, including the three founders, two of whom have a combined 40 years experience in technical performance garments, the brand blurs the lines between performance and urban wear. Membrane lamination technology, and seam sealing with a heat welded waterproof tape, ensures no water penetrates the fabric of the brand's jacket collection, while discreet venting creates breathability.
