Italian luxury fashion house Valentino has announced the passing of its founder, Valentino Garavani. 

The Valentino team has shared:

"The Maison remembers with deep emotion and great affection Mr. Valentino Garavani.

"His unmistakable style and innate elegance will live on through time, immortal.

"We join with sincere participation in the grief of his loved ones and will continue to cherish and value the precious creative, cultural and human heritage passed down by him, on which the Maison is founded.

"His life was a beacon in the constant pursuit of beauty, and, guided by that same beauty, we will continue to honour him in most heartfelt memory.
