Miu Miu reveals details of first fragrance
Date posted on DIARY directory: Monday 6th July 2015
Fashion label Miu Miu has revealed the details of its debut fragrance. Drawing on Prada’s inspiration, perfumer Daniela Andrier has created a study in contrast. The fragrance opens with lily of the valley, composed of real jasmine, real rose absolute, and synthetic green notes. The scent is then set against a deep earth-toned background: the wood and pepper of Akigalawood, an extract of patchouli. The bottle features blue-pillowed opaque glass – reminiscent of Miu Miu’s signature matelassé – with a white matte collar, along with a translucent red disk. To support the fragrance, Actress Stacy Martin features in a campaign shot by Steven Meisel. Priced from £48 for 30ml, the fragrance will be available exclusively at Harrods from 1 August before rolling out nationwide on 1 September.
