Sauce Shop has appointed Mercieca as its PR agency to lead trade and consumer media activity.

Founded in Nottingham by Pam and James Digva, Sauce Shop produces hot sauces, BBQ sauces and condiments. Mercieca will work across grocery, convenience and hospitality media, alongside consumer and influencer channels.

The agency is on board to bring its specialist food and drink expertise to the account, combining strong relationships across grocery, convenience and hospitality media with its consumer and influencer network. That breadth will allow Mercieca to tell the Sauce Shop story from both sides of the shelf, building the brand’s industry profile while creating the kind of consumer appetite that gives retailers and operators even more reason to take notice.
