Global luxury-shopping destination MATCHESFASHION.COM has announced the following senior promotions, effective immediately, within its team with the creation of three new roles:
Natalie Kingham, who joined the business in 2010, has been promoted from Buying Director to Fashion & Buying Director. Natalie will build on her responsibility for the womenswear buying strategy with a continued focus on cultivating emerging talent e.g. the ‘Innovators’ programme (launched September 2017) which champions pioneering talent that does not adhere to the traditional fashion calendar and gives the customer an opportunity to discover new design. Her new role will also allow her to explore new categories to drive future growth, such as lifestyle and interiors in 2018.
Jess Christie, who joined the business in 2010, becomes Chief Brand Officer. Jess was formerly global communications director and in her new role will be responsible for building the MATCHESFASHION.COM brand vision globally through innovative digital and physical experiences. One of her major projects in 2018 will be the launch of 5 Carlos Place, a new concept space in Mayfair, London. This complete new retail experience housed over six floors will be an evolution of three of the company’s customer touchpoints – the global series of ‘In Residence’ events, the retail store, and the private shopping townhouse – offering customers a physical experience linked to the brands’ digital presence.
Kate Blythe, who joined the business in 2013 as global content director, becomes Chief Content Officer. Kate will work on evolving landscape of platforms and channels - mobile, email, web experiences, short films, and editorial content. Kate will also be responsible for launching a new broadcasting hub at 5 Carlos Place.
