Marie Claire UK is putting together a travel special for January to sit alongside The Reset, the annual health and wellness special. The journalist is looking for spas, retreats and wellness hotels that offer something genuinely restorative, from quick UK mini breaks to longer stays in Europe and further afield, as well as family-friendly options.

Properties and programmes with a clear focus on one or more of the following:

• Physical health - fitness, movement, recovery, physiotherapy, posture
• Mental health - stress, burnout, anxiety, emotional wellbeing
• Medical and longevity - diagnostics, health screening, doctor-led programmes, biohacking
• Sleep - dedicated sleep programmes, sleep tracking, specialist therapies
• Diet and nutrition - gut health, detox, nutritionist-led menus, metabolic health
• Digital detox - tech-free stays, phone lock-ins, off-grid retreats
• Families - wellness breaks the whole family can enjoy, such as kids' wellbeing activities, family yoga or outdoor adventures, and childcare or kids' clubs so parents can make time for spa treatments

Locations:

•  UK - ideal for a one to three-night mini break, easy to reach from London and other major cities
• Europe - short-haul retreats suited to a long weekend or a week
• Worldwide - destination retreats worth the long-haul flight

Please provide a short overview of the property, along with details of the relevant programmes, how long they run, what's included, and 2027 prices.

The journalist would also like to hear about any new openings or launches for early 2027, and whether a press stay would be possible, as it is required to review the property/experience. For family-friendly options, please provide age policies, what's on offer for kids, family room or villa options and child pricing.
