Key insights
- Dior created 20% of PFW’s overall visibility - Dior nearly tripled its EMV thanks to a continued talent partnership with Thai stars Lingling Kwong and Orm Kornnaphat, the top two talents of the week, alongside appearances from Jennifer Lawrence, Rihanna and Toheeb Jimoh. Orm and Lingling published a combined 36 posts for Dior, generating over $200M EMV between them.
- Schiaparelli entered the top five for the first time - This was driven by increased visibility from Thai actors ‘Namping’ Napatsakorn Pingmuang and ‘Keng’ Harit Buayoi, who sat alongside Tate McRae.
- Chanel amplified its collection with viral moments - These included Rachel Ojuromi going from recreating Chanel looks in Nigeria to walking its runway, a TikTok of Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Dua Lipa and Nicole Kidman singing to Adéla, and Gabrielle Chanel’s own 2.55 bag from the Patrimoine archives on the catwalk.
- Glam teams and families joined the story - Orm’s mother brought fans into Dior’s fashion week through a behind-the-scenes lens, sparking $8.9M EMV for the brand, while celebrity make-up artist ‘Homeless Makeup’ shared tutorials of the stars’ looks and behind-the-scenes moments.
- Brands showed signs of substance - For its ‘Antibiblioteca’ show at Paris’ Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève, Valentino asked every guest to bring a book. Matières Fécales dedicated its show on Place de la République to ‘the 99%’, casting 99 models of colour, with Rihanna’s front-row appearance helping its EMV grow by 795% year-on-year.
- Substackers and quieter strategies - Brands sought long-form coverage via Substackers, including Violet Grace Atkinson and Julia Berolzheimer at Stella McCartney, and Chani Ra at Chanel. The Row and Hermès continued with quieter strategies, from banning phones and social posting to keeping front rows small.
- PFW generated nearly 2.7x as much as MFW on Weibo - Chinese actress Dilraba Dilmurat took over Dior’s official Weibo account, generating $20M EMV for the house, and PFW’s Hot Topics drew more than 128M engagements, with brands and collections driving most of them.
The tracking period covered 28 September to 7 October 2026.
