Family-owned Katjes International has acquired 60% of Munich-based lifestyle and luxury sports fashion company Bogner.

Bogner family holds 40% of the company's shares and will remain involved in the company in the long term. Based on a strong capital structure, the Bogner family and Katjes International will jointly drive forward the growth of Bogner as owners

Following the transaction, Bogner will continue to operate as a legally and organizationally independent company. 

The transaction is expected to be completed in September. It is subject to antitrust approvals.
