Istituto Ganassini S.p.A. di Ricerche Biochimiche has announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire The Organic Pharmacy Ltd, a leading British producer of luxury organic health and beauty products, specialised in the pytopharmaceutical formulations and clinically proven bioactives.
The acquisition of The Organic Pharmacy is consistent with Istituto Ganassini’s pharmaceutical roots and the belief that the client should have the best products and treatments available. Through this acquisition, the Group enters in the segment of the organic products, which are consistently establishing in the market, fuelled by the increasing consumers’ interest and consciousness towards natural and environment-friendly products.

In the transaction, Istituto Ganassini was assisted by BNP Paribas as exclusive financial advisor, by Adacta Advisory as financial auditor, Rödl & Partner Padova and Laytons as legal and tax counsels. The Organic Pharmacy’s shareholders were assisted by Baylor Klein as exclusive exclusive financial advisor and Addleshaw Goddard as legal counsel.
