Anna Baddeley has been appointed deputy digital editor of Intelligent Life, the culture and lifestyle magazine from The Economist. The title has additionally announced a rebrand, offering expanded content and a new name of 1843. The refreshed magazine will offer ideas-based features alongside dedicated sections for food and drink, tech, art, design and body and mind. The first issue of 1843 will launch on 9 March.
