Instagram introduces music in Stories

Instagram has introduced music in Stories so users can now add a soundtrack to a story that fits the moment, helping express the feel of the post.
When the user taps to add a sticker to a photo or video in Stories, the music icon now appears. Users can tap on it to open a library of thousands of songs - which can be searched, browsed by mood, genre or what’s popular and tap the play button to hear a preview. When the song has been selected, the user can fast-forward and rewind through the track to choose the exact part that fits the Story. Users can also choose a song before capturing a video. When opening the camera, swipe to the new “Music” option under the record button. Search for a song, select the exact part wanted, and record a video as the song plays in the background. When friends watch the story, they will then hear the song playing as the photo or video is viewed. Users will also see a sticker showing the song title and artist name.
